Women who want to return to their normal breast size following breast feeding, or for those who for reasons of self consciousness or low self esteem request augmentation mammaplasty, this procedure is now available on the North Coast as well.

With daystay or overnight surgery, bilateral breast augmentation can be performed with either silicon gel or saline breast implants. Both types of implants offer an excellent cosmetic result, with silicon gel offering a slightly better texture and feel to the final result.

Complications are rare following this procedure, and ninety percent of women for the first ten years following their augmentation will have experienced no complications from their operation. Another way of looking at this is that only ten per cent of women will have experienced problems (for example capsular contracture, implant leakage or infection) for the first ten years after insertion of breast implants.
